The NBA two-minute report for Friday’s games shows that officials missed a crucial call in the Kings’ loss to Boston.

De’Aaron Fox and Sacramento almost pulled off the late-game comeback. Fox banked in a triple to give Sacramento a one-point lead with seconds remaining, but the Celtics were able to take back the lead.

One more opportunity remained for the Kings. With five second remaining, Sacramento had enough time to run one more play. Fox missed a potential game-winning jumper, Murray failed to convert a putback, as did rookie Colby Jones — or did he miss due to the contact from Celtics guard/forward Svi Mykhailiuk?

“Mykhailiuk (BOS) follows through and initiates illegal contact with Jones’ (SAC) face after he tips the ball,” the NBA last two-minute report states, labeling the missed foul as an incorrect non-call.

This was the only incorrect non-call listed in the report.

When is the next Sacramento Kings game?

Sacramento will play their third game of this final road trip, heading to Brooklyn to take on the Nets (30-47) in another pivotal matchup. Brooklyn, who are ranked 11th in the Eastern Conference, is eliminated from postseason contention at this point but the stakes remain high for the Kings.

  • Sunday, April 7th – Kings @ Brooklyn Nets – 4:30 p.m. PST
  • Tuesday, April 9th – Kings @ Oklahoma City Thunder – 5 p.m. PST
  • Thursday, April 11th – Kings vs. New Orleans Pelicans – 7 p.m. PST
  • Friday, April 12th – Kings vs. Phoenix Suns – 7 p.m. PST
