California native Brook Lopez is returning to the land of cheese next season.

According to reports, Lopez is set to return to the Milwaukee Bucks on a two-year, $48 million deal. Brooks was the second member of the Bucks 2021 Championship team to return, following the news of Khris Middleton re-signing with Milwaukee.

Both Brooks and Middleton were rumored to have interest from the Sacramento Kings.

The 15-year veteran was the runner-up for the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year last season, finishing second in voting behind winner Memphis forward Jaren Jackson Jr. On top of that, he averaged 15.9 points and 6.7 rebounds.

While free agents can negotiate and agree to new contracts, those deals do not become official until 12:01 a.m. EST, July 6.
