Hour 1

Segment 1: Matt George and Scott Marsh fill in for Carmichael Dave. They discuss Quidditch (!) and some fallout from France’s World Cup victory.

Segment 2: Today’s Morning Brew looks at the A’s-Giants series, Jabari Parker signing with the Bulls, and France winning the World Cup.

Segment 3: The guys talk about the A’s taking 2-of-3 from the Giants and where this leaves Oakland as they enter the All-Star Break.

Segment 4: With the home run derby coming up, Matt, Scott and Kyle debate the quality of the contest and how the MLB All-Star game stacks up against other All-Star games.

Hour 2

Segment 1: Matt and Scott discuss NBA free agency and the latest on Kawhi Leonard’s long-term future in San Antonio.

Segment 2: Threefer Madness includes questions about sports celebrations, Carmelo Anthony and Clint Capela in Sacramento, and who the guys think will win the Home Run Derby.

Segment 3: The guys take a deep dive into the state of the Oakland A’s and how sustainable their success is for the rest of the season.

Hour 3

Segment 1: Bleacher Report’s Howard Beck joins the show to give an update on NBA free agency and discuss what’s next for the Kings as free agency winds down.

Segment 2: UC Davis head football coach Dan Hawkins hops on at the bottom of the hour to chat about the Aggies’ upcoming season.

Segment 3: Jimmy Butler rejected a long-term extension from the Timberwolves. The guys discuss it.
