With the Kings’ 118-94 win Tuesday over the Golden State Warriors, Sacramento will now travel to New Orleans to face the Pelicans in the final play-in matchup in the Western Conference.

The winner of Friday’s game goes on to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Tipoff at the Smoothie King Center is set for 6:30 p.m. PST on Friday, April 19.

This will be the sixth time this season the Sacramento Kings face off against New Orleans. The Pelicans won in all five previous matchups, with the most recent victory on Thursday, April 11 at the Golden 1 Center.

The Los Angeles Lakers secured the second seed in the NBAā€™s Western Conference by beating the New Orleans Pelicans 110-106 on Tuesday. Both Eastern Conference play-in games take place Wednesday night.
