Thompson joined the show to discuss Sacramento’s start to the season & much more
This week on The Carmichael Dave Show with JayMarzz, Sacramento Kings center Tristan Thompson joined the show to talk about the team’s start to the season, discuss his first few months in Sacramento and much more.
Thompson, a 10-year NBA veteran and champion with the 2015-16 Cleveland Cavaliers, has experienced the Sacramento fanbase from the visitors side of the fence. Now a member of the Kings, Thompson told Dave that he feels the passion and energy that this fanbase brings on a nightly basis.
“I remember back in Sleep Train Arena and I would see those high-school looking bleachers and the fans were rocking,” Thompson said. “I remember with Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins, (the fans) were rocking…I’m so happy that the city was able to get the new arena, the Golden 1 Center. It’s beautiful, especially compared to where the Kings used to play.”
Throughout the course of the interview, Thompson goes on to breakdown the team’s tough weekend at Golden 1 Center, explain the process of how this team can learn and improve on a nightly basis and much more.
