In case you missed it, former Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins had some harsh words for his former organization on Monday afternoon.
Not only did the veteran center tell Andscape’s Marc J. Spears that he wished he could do back and never work out for the Kings before the 2010 NBA Draft, but he also had thoughts on the organization’s decision to fire head coach Michael Malone during the 2014-15 season, his number being retired in the Golden 1 Center rafters, Vlade Divac’s Hall of Fame induction and more.
What did Sac do for me? Besides say my name [draft day]. I did more for them than they did for me. That’s just being honest. Just being 100% honest. I had two owners, three GMs, seven coaches in seven years. I was there seven years. I had three GMs, two owners and seven coaches. Not much more needs to be said.
