The Sacramento Kings will play one of the most significant games in the franchise’s history on Sunday when they face the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs.

After taking a hit to the face during Friday’s Game 6 win in San Francisco, All-Star center Domantas Sabonis met with the media following Saturday’s practice to give an update on his swollen left eye, preview Game 7, and much more.

During the second quarter of Game 6, Sabonis took a hit to the face from Golden State center Kevon Looney during a jump ball. No foul was called on Looney, but Sacramento’s franchise big was rattled after taking contact to his eye.

Sabonis logged just 23 minutes during the Kings’ 118-99 win over the Warriors while pulling down 11 rebounds, scoring seven points, and turning the ball over four times.

While the big man’s eye looked bruised and swollen, Sabonis made it clear that he intends to play on Sunday.
