The Sacramento Kings forward joined the show to talk about ‘The Last Dance’, COVID-19 and more
Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes joined The Jim Rome Show this morning to discuss a variety of basketball topics.
Barnes, 27, is currently playing his eighth season of NBA Basketball. This season with Sacramento, Barnes is averaging 14.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 38-percent from beyond the three-point line.
The COVID-19 outbreak has put the NBA season on hold as sports around the world are currently looking at an uncertain future.
Harrison and his wife Brittany are donating $40,00 to fund weekly groceries for vulnerable families and seniors last month. When asked about the nice gesture by Jim Rome, Barnes shared his thoughts on being in a position to help those in need.
“The game of basketball has been extremely fortunate to me. When a pandemic like this happens and so many people are in need, we are just trying to do our part and do what we can.”
Barnes goes on to further discuss what it means to him to give back, what it was like to watch Michael Jordan as a child and more.
