For the second time in two weeks, the Sacramento Kings will face the Golden State Warriors as the two Pacific Division foes will face off on Monday night at Chase Center.
Fresh off of Saturday night’s thrilling overtime win in Orlando, De’Aaron Fox and company will look to push Golden State’s losing streak to six games as the defending NBA champions have fallen on hard times since the last time that these teams saw each other on October 23rd.
Can the Kings defeat Golden State for the first time since March 25, 2021, and snap a six-game losing skid against their I-80 rivals?
Here is everything that you need to know for tonight’s game:
Some notes on tonight's Kings vs Warriors game:
▪️ In head-to-head matchups when both players are active, Steph Curry holds a perfect 7-0 record against De'Aaron Fox 🤯
▪️ Sacramento has lost six-straight games to Golden State (last win: 3/25/21)If you believe in due..

What To Watch For
A Rested & Motivated Warriors Team
The Warriors have benefited from two consecutive off days following their loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, meaning that they will have fresh legs against Sacramento.
After losing five-straight games to sit at 3-7 on the season (13th in the Western Conference), Golden State will surely look to put an emphatic stop to their skid against a Kings team that they have dominated in recent memory.
It will be up to Sacramento to rise to the occasion and refuse to fall into an early hole, similar to what happened the last time that these two teams met on October 23rd when Steph Curry dropped 28 first-half points to lead the Warriors to an 89-71 lead at the break.
Containing Curry will be imperative for the Kings, and as every basketball fan knows, will surely not be an easy task.
Fox vs Curry: Swipa Is Due
Speaking of Curry, the two-time MVP has yet to lose a basketball game to Kings guard De’Aaron Fox.
When both players are active, Golden State has a perfect 7-0 record against Sacramento, meaning that Fox is due to secure his first win against the future Hall of Fame guard.
This version of De’Aaron Fox is quite different in comparison to the player that Curry has faced for most of those seven matchups as the sixth-year guard is playing like an All-Star in the early stages of the regular season.
Through seven appearances this season, Fox is averaging 26.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game on 55 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from beyond the three-point arc. Watch for Sacramento to continue riding a red-hot Fox against a Golden State defense that has looked out of whack thus far in 2022-23.
Notes
- This will be Sacramento’s final visit to Chase Center this season

- After finishing third last season in opponent points per game (105.5) during the 2021-22 season, the Warriors are dead last in the NBA this season in that department after yielding 121.4 points per game to begin the season.
