The Sacramento Kings have done an excellent job of handling adversity this season, and they will face their most significant test on Friday afternoon when they face the Golden State Warriors in a game that could either extend or end their first playoff run in 17 years.

Following Wednesday’s 123-116 loss to the Warriors at Golden 1 Center, the Kings will now be tasked with beating the Warriors at Chase Center, where they haven’t won a game in over three years.

Although Sacramento’s incredible season is facing its last stand, guard Malik Monk and Harrison Barnes shared their optimism toward Friday’s Game 6 in San Francisco.

Both players sounded confident that the Kings, a team that hasn’t lost four-straight games since starting the season with an 0-4 record, will have what it takes to send this series back to Sacramento for a Game 7 matchup on Sunday.

Can The Kings Find Success in the House of Horrors?

The Warriors are very hard to beat at Chase Center. Golden State’s home record of 33-8 was the third-best in the NBA.

Sacramento has struggled to beat the Warriors on the road, as they have lost eight-straight games at Chase Center dating back to the start of the 2020-21 regular season.

The Kings’ last win at Chase Center came on February 25, 2020.
