In 2023, the NBA announced that the Golden State Warriors and the Bay Area would host the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.
Now, a few weeks into 2024, the NBA has announced where the 2026 All-Star festivities will be played.
On Tuesday, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that The Intuit Dome, the future home of the Los Angeles Clippers in Inglewood, will host the 2026 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 15. This will be the seventh All-Star game to be held in Los Angeles.
The Intuit Dome is set to open in August of this year.
“We are building Intuit Dome to house and showcase the best basketball players in the world, and we are honored they will all be under our roof for NBA All Star,” Clippers Chairman Steve Ballmer said. “Along with Inglewood and Los Angeles, we thank the NBA for bringing the league’s marquee event to Intuit Dome in 2026.”

This year’s All-Star festivities take place in Indianapolis. Then, the fun sets up shop in California for two years.
Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will play host to the 74th NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025. This will be the first time the Chase Center, which opened in 2019, hosts the All-Star game and the third time the Warriors organization has hosted the event.
The last time Golden State hosted was in 2000 at the Oracle Arena, which featured a timeless performance by Vince Carter in the NBA’s Slam Dunk competition.
So San Francisco in 2025, Los Angeles in 2026, why not go for the California trifecta and have Sacramento host in 2027? https://t.co/oeHp5QNxau
