Two years ago today, Bogdan Bogdanovic showed us that he has the “clutch” gene

All athletic events will be on pause for the foreseeable future, which is a tough pill to swallow for sports fans around the world.

While this may be a rough time for Sacramento Kings fans, we can look back on some good times while we wait for basketball to make it’s return.

On This Date: April 6, 2018 – Kings 94, Grizzlies 93

Trailing by one point with six seconds remaining, the Sacramento Kings needed a big shot to steal a win from the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis guard Dillon Brooks’ three-pointer gave the Grizzlies a 93-92 lead with seconds remaining. Out of the timeout, rookie guard Bogdan Bogdanovic took the game into his own hands.

Bogdanovic took the inbound pass, drove right and popped a jumper near the top of the key.

The shot fell, and Sacramento took a one-point lead with one second remaining. Out of the timeout, Bogdanovic sealed the game with a steal as the clock hit zero, giving the Kings a 94-93 win.

De’Aaron Fox finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win, while Willie Cauley-Stein-scored 18 points to go along with eight rebounds. Buddy Hield added 14 points, five rebounds and six assists off of the bench.

Bogdanovic finished with eight points and four assists, struggling for most of the night until the final opportunity.
