When Sacramento Kings center Neemias Queta exited Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to left calf soreness, there were concerns that the seven-footer’s summer had come to an end.

According to Kings Summer League head coach Jordi Fernandez, Queta will reportedly be available for Wednesday’s game in Las Vegas against second-overall pick Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

“He’s available,” Fernandez said of Queta’s status following the team’s practice on Tuesday. “He felt great, he worked all the way through, just making sure that he was fine. He is (fine), and we’re excited.”

During Sacramento’s two Summer League showings in Las Vegas, Queta holds averages of 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 72 percent from the field.

The Kings will need its big man on Wednesday when they take the floor against Holmgren, who has racked up 3.0 block per contest over two showings here in Las Vegas.
