The San Francisco 49ers keep on losing depth this offseason, now expected to lose versatile offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill as well.
Reports surfaced Tuesday evening that the former 49ers OL is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans, leaving the Bay after four seasons. The deal is reportedly good for two years, with the numbers not disclosed at this time. Brunskill will reunite with former 49ers executive Ran Carthon in Nashville.
The Score’s Jordan Schultz was first with the news.

Daniel Brunskill, 29, has been one of San Francisco’s most reliable players in the trenches, playing all five positions over the last four years. His play never dipped across the line, allowing zero sacks and zero penalties in 518 snaps last season. Most natural at either guard spot, the San Diego State alum will likely compete for the starting job with the Titans.
Brunskill’s departure is now the second player to join Tennessee, with linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair agreeing to terms with the Titans prior. The Red & Gold have suffered massive casualties to their depth this offseason, losing the likes of S Jimmie Ward, CB Emmanuel Moseley and DE Samson Ebukam to name a few.
Now without their plug-and-play guy, the 49ers should look to find depth on the O-Line in the 2023 NFL draft.
