Jordan Elliott is heading to the Bay to help San Francisco’s defensive line.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the 49ers are adding the former Cleveland Browns defensive tackle on a two-year, $10 million deal. The team cannot officially announce the signing until the new league year begins on Wednesday, March 13.
Picked by Cleveland in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Elliot played 66 games for the Browns. In four years, he recorded just under 100 combined tackles, eight tackles for a loss, five sacks, and four passes defended. He started all 17 games in 2022 and 14 games last season.
