Sacramento Kings fans have a reputation. The atmosphere inside the Golden 1 Center is electric and rookie Jalen Slawson can’t wait to embrace it for the first time.
The Kings’ rookie forward spoke to the media after day two of the team’s two-day mini-camp, answering questions about the team’s pace, feeling like an NBA player and more. When asked about playing in front of Kings’ fans Monday, he said he’s excited.
“I’ve heard a lot about it, I can’t wait to see Sacramento come out. I heard it gets pretty rowdy here, even for Summe League games so, you know we got a 7:30 game on a Monday during the summer, so I’m interested to see who comes out.”
Jalen Slawson was the team’s 54th selection in the 2023 NBA Draft. He joins the Kings’ other rookie Colby Jones and second-year forward Keegan Murray on the team’s summer league rosters.
